I met two college kids visiting LA who had no idea where to start for their spring break trip to Los Angeles. She liked art. He liked History. They both loved drinking and eating.
I’m the same way. Here’s the list of recommendations I made for them. Hope you like them.
Culver City
Platform:
Loqui (order a jamaica, chicken taco and a mushroom taco)
Van Leeuwen or whatever ice cream OR boba guys (order: milk tea w boba)

Start at Museum of Jurassic Technology (don’t miss the space dog portraits and make sure to bring cash for some tea upstairs)
Lunch at The Wallace

Drinks at the Culver Hotel - don’t miss the live music and projections of black and white films

Samosa House Cheap Indian food (Any Location)

Venice Beach
Start at the Venice Boardwalk
Don’t miss the famous Venice Sign
Make your way up the boardwalk and over to the Venice canals
Then go to abbot Kinney or Main Street SANTA Monica

coffee and a croissant at TOMS
Medmen dispensary (buy a kiva bar with CBD)
Breakfast at Gjusta
Or Lunch at Gjelina. If gjelina line too long, abbot Kinney pizza
Dessert at salt and straw or the donut place
Wander every store, but don’t miss tortoise general store
Westwood
go see a movie. If you can, see The Room
Diddy Riese Cookies (bring cash or a debit card for the ATM) (order 2 chocolate chips at the least, go big with an ice cream sandwich)

get up early and go hike point Mugu : google Chumash trail near point Mugu

must: cholada Thai (order: yellow curry with chicken and seafood soup)
